Question
Have a file from Wordperfect that is converted to pdf in acrobat.  I need to save it to a CD.  How do I do that.  Thanks!

Answer
Hi Mary,

You will need cd / dvd authoring software and a writable cd drive. My personal choice for cd / dvd burning software is Roxio Toast for the Mac and Nero for the PC.

First, save your file somewhere you can find it, your documents folder or desktop should work.

Next, launch your cd burning application. It should give you a choice of disk types to create, in this case you should use Data CD.

The application should prompt you to add files you want to write to cd. Most allow you to drag and drop the file into the application window that will list the contents to be written to disk.

Click the button that enables you to burn or write the cd.

The program should ask you to put a blank disc into the cd writer.

The disk should start writing when you place it in the drive.

Each software can be a little different from the next, but this generalization, along with the program's own prompts should get you there.

Thanks,
