Question
I have attachments sent to me via e-mail that were adobe but some how I made a mistake and said to open them with micro soft word and modzilla. When I go to "open with" it does not give me the option of adobe 7 anymore how can I fix this ?

Answer
Hi Susie,

On Windows 2000, right-click the file you want to open and choose Properties. You should see a line that reads "Opens with:" followed by a program and a button marked Change... . Click the button and navigate to Adobe Acrobat 7.0. If you do not see Adobe Acrobat 7, click the button below marked Other... and navigate to your Program files folder to find the Adobe folder which inside should have Acrobat 7. Choose Acrobat and click the Open button. That should do it.

If that doesn't work, I will need a bit more information.

What operating system are you using? (Windows 2000, Vista, etc.)

When you originally tried to open the file and chose the incorrect program, was the "Always use this program..." box checked?

Thanks,
