Question
Hi,

I am using Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard, the Acrobat Excel add-in, and Microsoft Excel 2007. What I would like to be able to do is take the info from my spreadsheet and automatically create a form that the user fills in a few lines of information. Is there a way to do this with the software that I have? If not, what do I need to do to accomplish this task, if it is possible. I appreciate any advice or insight you can give.

Hi Eli,

Output your form from Excel as a pdf. Open the file in Acrobat and choose Forms -> Start Form Wizard.

Acrobat should recognize the cells from Excel as fillable form fields.

You may need to do some editing from there in terms of what fields you want active etc.
