Question
Hello...

I use to let photo shop run by action from start to end as save as by itself to make my life easier!

Now, I have the Adobe Acrobat Pro and I always to put any pdf files from customer into the acrobat and I have to click, click, click as action list and click on my own setting to run as preflight and report to see any resolution and fonts problem. I am wondering... can I put any pdf file into acrobat and let it run for me from start to end as report and save by itself. I don't see anywhere as set up the action in the adobe acrobat. Let me know.
Thanks

Answer
Hi Richard,

Under the Advanced menu, choose Preflight. In the dialog box that opens click the Profiles tab, then go to the options drop down at the right-side of the dialog box. From there you can set up your custom profile and then create a droplet application to run your preflight profile. With the droplet, you should be able to drag and drop pdf files onto it and get automated reports based on the settings you provided.

Thanks,
