Adobe Acrobat - Adobe Acrobat 5.1.0

Expert: Carol Ott - 9/23/2003

Question
I have some forms that I downloaded from the State of Florida website.  They are PDF files and I believe them to be in Adobe Acrobat 5.1.0.  These pages I then print out and fill in on the typewriter, each month, 4-7 pages, times 3 companies.  Whew!  Which Adobe Acrobat should I purchase to allow me to fill these forms out on the PC?  It will be such a time saver to be able to do this and I have not been able to get any info from anyone.  Thanks in advance for any information you can give me.

Sincerely,
Marla

Answer
Hi there --

Unfortunately, unless the person who created the forms used the form fields (instead of creating the form in another program like Word) -- even if you had the full Acrobat package, you still wouldn't be able to fill them in properly.

I've never understood why governments don't create their forms properly so people could fill them out online -- what a pain.  :-(

Sorry for the bad news...

Carol
