Expert: Carol Ott Date: 9/12/2003 Subject: FILL OUT A FORM
Question I need to use a form in my job, very frequently, and it is available online. I saved it, but I can't type on it. I looked into the FORM properties and it says, FILLING OUT IS ALLOWED.
What I am missing?
I do not know ADOBE, besides opening files, printing and typing on it.
Could you help me out ?
The form I am talking about is :
www.dir.ca.gov/dwc/PR-2.pdf
Thanks in advance!
Answer Hi there --
I checked out the form, and apparently they expect you to print the form and type on it -- not fill it out online. It doesn't have real form fields in it -- someone just typed those lines (probably in Word) and converted it to a PDF.
You might want to send them an e-mail and ask if they'd consider making the form available as an electronic document that you can fill out online, if it's something you and others have to fill out frequently.
