About Justin VanAlstyne Expertise I have a full working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat 5.0 - 7.01. I have experience in creating interactive PDFs, embedding multimedia, web-based forms, creating presentations using PDF, advanced prepress preparation, PDF web optimization, color management, and using PDF as a soft-proofing tool. I do not have a lot of experience using Acrobat`s advanced Javascripting features, though a lot of custom functionality can be built into a PDF this way.

Question I am using Adobe Acrobat 5.0 to create forms. I have done this successfully before, but now whenever I create the textbox, it automatically creates it a certain height (approx 1/4") larger than what I want. I used to be able to create it any height I wanted. I can increase the size, but it won't let me decrease the size. So when I go to create a textbox on a line, the box goes below the line automatically and I can't resize it. How can I correct this?
Answer Dianne,
Perhaps it won't let you resize it because of the text size setting for that box. For example, if the text size is set to 14pt. it won't let you reduce the height of the box smaller than the heigh of a 14pt character. Check out the properties of your box and see what it is.
