Question I scanned a docuemnt into Acrobat, and want to search for the words but i can't - how do i do that ?
Answer Hi Wully,
Hey, use a spell check my man !
okay -- Open the image in Acrobat - you will need Acrobat Standard or professional - then go under the Recognize text using OCR (Optical Character Recognition) - this tool will actually analyses the shapes of the letter, form words and then place hidden text behind the image of the text in the proper position. You can then save, and search and find any text that it was able to find - sometimes the scan is poor quality, and Acrobat might miss a word or two, but it most works great - hope this helps !
