Adobe Framemaker - Black 100% + Pantone 118 CVU tint in FrameMaker

Expert: Neal Ziring - 11/25/2008

Question
While creating pdf all tint colour is showing instaed of black+Pantone118 CVU

Answer
Rajesh,

(Your question is rather unclear.  Are you getting tints when
you wanted black?  Or were you trying to overprint black?)

The default behavior for PDF with printing colors is to
convert everything to RGB or CMYK color model.  So, if
you have a color that is Black + Pantone118, you probably
won't get an accurate representation.

Rather than using Tint colors, you might want to use Process
or Spot colors.  That's what I always do when I'm generating
a document intended for PDF.

Sorry I can't help more.
