Question Can you tell me how to convert word documents(.doc) to framemaker.
Answer Ramya,
Framemaker can import Word documents (.doc) files, and then
save them as Framemaker files (.fm). That is the only good
way to convert to Framemaker format. Some kinds of Word
formatting will be mangled by the import process; I don't know
of any way to avoid that, you just have to try it.
It is sometimes safer to save a document from Word as
Rich Text Format (.rtf) and them import the .rtf file into
Framemaker.
