Question I'm using Frame 8.0 and I'm not totally familiar with some of the changes made to this new version. I am trying to insert two special characters (arrowright and arrowleft) by using the key sequences I found in the online Character Sets manual (Ctrl+q . and Ctrl+q ,). I've tried and tried, but I cannot get those two symbols to appear correctly in my document. I thought maybe it was due to the font, but I've not encountered problems using Times New Roman in the past.
Is this a bug? Is there a workaround? I've updated my software and am now using v8.0p227.
Looking forward to getting past this--

Since I don't have Frame 8, I can only suggest the following:
After you type the character (i.e. Ctrl+q. and Ctrl+q,) select the character that prints and change the Font to Symbol, it won't work with Times New Roman - When I type (Ctrl+q.), I got something that looked like AE (in Italics).
Hope this helps you out
