Question Hi there,
I am a newbie, using framemaker on UNIX for the first time.
whenever i run maker on my UNIX machine it gives me a "maker(uninit): Error: Can't open display..."
Can you help please?
Answer RM - Sorry I cannot help you as I have no experience with UNIX
You might try going to www.adobe.com and searching their website.
Also try entering it in google and you might be find something that might help you.
If the file opens but the message is for a graphic - then what has probably happened is the graphic was imported "by reference" instead of being "copied" into the document and the orignal has been moved from the location where Framemaker thinks it should be.
