Question Help - I have used FM for the last 10 years and so far have not had to do any equations. I have looked at the user guide and find it less than helpful. I need to do a very simple equation
gain = and then I have some text and this is over x
there is a horizontal line between the text and the x
easy - no - I must have a mental block, but I can't figure it out. Could you please give me step by step instructions on how to do this. thanks in advance
Answer Open the "Equation" palette. This is located just above the right scroll bar - just below the tools palette.
With the Equation palette open select the down arrow on the "Equation" button.
For your example I would select "new small equation," this will display an anchored frame with a ?.
Enter the first part of your formula X=
Now find the button which has ? over ?, (I cannot type it here).
Then just start entering your formula.
If this doesn't answer you question
email me with a sample.
Put Framemaker in the subject line.
