Question
I want to create a FM 9 User Guide.

But--asfar as i can tell--FM will not allow me to create two seoerate FM windows in my screen so i can take snapshots from a procedure and paste in into the second  FM document, the user guide.

Am i missing something obvious here? I have created many douuments using Word as it allows me to open up as many screens as i want.

Thanks

You can open multiple instances of Framemaker.
Just double-click on the first document you want to open, then
Double click on the Framemaker icon - DO NOT click on another Frame file.
Once the icon opens - then go to the menu bar and select - File OPEN and you should have 2 instances of Framemaker running.
You can also select 2 or 3 or more files - (hold down the Alt key and select your files) then right click the mouse and select OPEN. Each file should open in its own instance of Frame. The amount of files you will be able to open depends on your computer and the size of files. I have opened as many as 20 using this procedure.
The other thing you can do if you have 2 monitors is to stretch the Framemaker application across the 2 screens, then open 2 documents and size them as required.
