Adobe Illustrator/Illustrator CS vs 9

Question
Is there any posibility to run multiple versions of Illustrator on the same PC computer - like 9 AND any CS? As far as i've tried the CS versions allways take over the older one and you can only use the old version after you've uninstalled the CS one.

Answer
Unfortunately, it is difficult to do on a PC. You would need to relocate all the resource files before you install the new edition and then drag them back into the source folders after installation. The issue is, any common sources shared by CS and 9 will conflict and then both wont work. I have both CS2 and CS3 on my PC and everything runs ok, with the exception of the Adobe Help Center, since the source file is named the same.
