Question
Hi!, I'm using illustrator 7 ( I know, I'm way behind ) and I'm trying to print a blueprint the size is 24 x 24 and the "tiling page" or whatever that is won't go any larger, I don't really want to print this in pieces I would like to print the whole design. Is there any way I can enlarge that printing area or how large does it go?

Answer
The tiling page is actually the size of the paper you have chosen.

So you can enter a custom paper size.

Select your printer in AI. Then click on the button that says Printer Setup (or something similar)... from the printer's paper selection choices, choose a paper size that works for you or enter a NEW custom paper size in the printer's settings.

When you have done that and selected it as your new paper size, and return to Illustrator, you will see the tiling area changes size to reflect the new paper size.

Good luck

I can help troubleshoot your Illustrator 9 through CS3 (and most CS4) problems and suggest the best way to get the results you need. Although I can help with some installation issues, my forte is prepress and how to use the tools and functions in the application itself.
