Adobe Illustrator/Can't save illustration

Question
I recently upgraded to a new G5 powermac with Intel and leopard installed
and I had to reinstall CS2 but I'm now having trouble saving renamed files
from a cd-rom for Illustrator CS2, I keep getting an error massage 'Can't save
the illustration - you do not have enough access privileges'. I tried running
Disk Permissions, but it didn't help. Any ideas?

Answer
The easiest way is to copy everything onto a new document and resave it.

It sounds silly but also make sure it is not trying to save it back onto the CD-Rom you opened it from. Copying the files to your hard drive and ejecting the disk takes care of that.
