I am using Illust. 10  with Windows XP.  Files (even simple small filesize) that use to open fine now open very slowly (takes almost a minute to open).  These files are ad files that have been "saved as" a number of times over and are located on a network server.  I did some research and found that this problem could be related to network printers, so I deleted my printers and reinstalled them, but no luck.  Thanks for any insight you can give.

Hi Daral,

The first thing that comes to mind whenever files or apps start to work slowly is fonts. Check to see how many you have loaded in your system as they bog down apps. Also, check your available RAM to make sure something else is not using more than it should and slowing AI up.
