Question
Hi Kevin,

I am designing a hockey logo and I am trying to convert an Illustrator file to a .pdf file. When I save as a .pdf in Illustrator, the .pdf file looks fine. But when I open the .pdf file in Acrobat Pro, the hockey player in the logo has white outlines around his name, number and logo on his jersey. These lines are not visible in Illustrator. Is there any way to prevent this from happening?

Answer
Hi Jeremy,

One of two things is happening. If these are placed images, it may be showing up when you export and you will need to check your files. The other issue could be that this is just a glitch and when you print this will not actually show up. If this is just for on screen presentations, then you may have to double check your file and create a clipping mask around your images with white boxes to prevent this from happening.

Thanks

Kevin
