Question
Hi- I have some artwork that I'm trying to apply a "Sponged" vintage look to it- and get no Hard edges on my art, can you pls help? I have Adobe Illustrator CS2 and Photoshop CS2.
Thanks....

Answer
Hi Joanne,

This would be something you would use Photoshop to create. You can create a new layer on top of your art, fill with a white color, then go to filter>render>clouds or difference clouds to create a sponge look, then change its layer mode to overlay (in the layer palette where it says normal, pull down to overlay).

If you want this to look like a sponge painting, you can just run the sponge artistic filter on it.

Thanks

Kevin
