Question
Kevin,
We have an interesting problem here - we have screen shots taken from an AIX machine that are Adobe 1.0 that we want to convert (JPEG, JIF?) so we can paste them to Powerpoint slides for training. Any ideas?

Answer
Hi Joe,

Im not certain what version of Illustrator you have or what file type this actually is since files with the .ai extension were not available in 1.0. Is this a PDF perhaps?

Either way, if you open these screen shots in a newer version of Adobe Illustrator you can use file>export to save these as jpg or gif files. You can also convert these in Photoshop. Newer version of PPT also take native AI files.

Thanks

Kevin
