Question
Hi, thank you for your help.
I notice that my illustrator cs2 (power mac g5) takes a quite long time to open, and that it usually stops for a while when its getting the plug-ins. Do you have any suggestions or reasons? Thanks again

Hi Sisi,

You may have a lot of fonts loaded up on your mac that are taking so much time. It may look like the plug-ins are held up, but it is usually the fonts dragging things down.

Otherwise, you may not have a lot of active RAM available for CS2. Double check both and it should run faster. For the fonts - make sure you are using a font management software package, like Linotype FontXplorer.
