QuestionQUESTION: OK it reset my settings.
I saved a pdf file of me scribbling and making shapes. You can see the white edges even in the PDF (at least I can.)
Is there any other info you need??
ANSWER: Hi kayla,
There was no attached file so I am taking some shots flying blind here. Is the white showing up when you print or just when you view on screen? What is your magnification when you see this white edging?

you can see the white when you print. Edges are terrible at 100%, but when zoomed in you can still see the faint pixeling.
Seriously it didnt do this in the past!!
AnswerHi Kayla,
I've downloaded and looked at your file and do not see the rasterizing or white areas that you speak of. I zoomed in to the max setting and there is no real pixelization other than the limitations of my monitor. Resetting your Illustrator should have taken care of anything related to views, etc.
So Im at a loss, there is nothing you can change in AI that would effect an illustration in this manner that resetting the prefs would not take care of. The only other thing that comes to mind is that your PC monitor settings have changed and are now not optimized, but that would take some doing or an update to change them out of alignment. You can always check that in the monitors control panel and make sure it is set to the highest settings. But then you would also notice your tools, etc. and other apps looking bitmapped/rasterized.
Sorry I couldn't help more.
Thanks
Kevin
