Adobe Illustrator/Illustrator settings??

Question
QUESTION: OK.. I think some settings somewhere in my Illustrator CS3 got changed or something.

Illustrator is a vector program.

However!!! Nothing is vectored. Everything is rastered.

When I fill colors or draw or anything, you can see a faint white line around everything as if it is pixeled!! Illustrator isn't supposed to do this.

It didn't USED to do this.

Are there some settings somewhere that needs to be changed??

I'm not very familiar with it until just recently.

Please help. Thanks.

I'm using Winxp pro edition

ANSWER: Hi Kayla,

Go to view>pixel preview and turn it off. This previews your doc as a lo-res web graphic.

Thanks

QUESTION: It is already turned off.

Answer
Hi Kayla,

Reset your preferences hold down (ctrl+shift+alt+cmd) when you click your icon to start up. This will prompt you to reset your preferences. If you do not get the prompt, you did not hold down soon enough.

After you have reset, if your doc still looks rasterized, try sending me a pdf of the file so I can preview it.

Thanks

Kevin
