Hi can you help me again?

Is there a way to make an image transparent in illustrator??

OK I made an image in photoshop I want to vector but when I bring it in, it has a white background, and when I try to erase it, the eraser icon is a pencil with a line through it.

How do I get rid of the white?? :( please help

the image in photoshop is a transparent png if that means anything

Hi Kayla,

Save this as a Photoshop format, not a png and file place. As long as the image is on its own layer with transparency, it will come in via file place as a transparent image. You can't erase a PS file in AI. Thats not how the eraser tool works.
