Adobe Illustrator/Drop shadows and flattening layers

Question
Hello Kevin,
I have a three layer design: one image layer, and two text layers.  I have
applied strokes and drop shadows to each of the text layers (Effect> Stylize>
Drop Shadow).
When I select "Flatten Artwork" from the Layers menu I lose the drop shadow
that was applied to the text and instead the shadow appears around the
outside of the entire image.

Answer
KC - Im sorry you think that I reiterated the answer, but if you take the steps I outlined, you can re-add your drop shadows to your text individually using the appearance palette. Next time instead of leaving a bad feedback, ask a follow up question.
