Question
It so strange, when I place an psd,or jpeg image. It automatically embed in illustrator, the file will become big. I want to just link the image. Please let me know if there some things that I should change? thank you.

Hi Elda,

To make sure that your images will not be embedded when you place them in Illustrator, check the options of the place command (File/place). Make sure you put a check mark in the small box of the "link" option. I'm sure it was not selected in your case so whenever you placed an image it was embedded.
