Adobe Illustrator/Illustrator find font script

Question
Hi, we have a series of .ai files within which we want to replace a few fonts consistently (for example, Helvetica with Myriad, Arial with Times New Roman).  I created an action within Illustrator to replace the fonts (type->find font, save and close) but now I want to run this on all the .ai files in a certain folder.
I have zero experience with Applescript--would you know how I can open all the files within a folder, one by one, and run the action?  (I fear if I open them all at once it may crash the app).  Thanks!!!

Answer
Hi Todd,

You need to Batch these. In the Actions Panel menu, run Batch then choose your script. Saving files using the Batch command options always saves the files in the same format as the original files. If you need them renamed, choose that option in the Batch menu.

Thanks

Kevin
