Adobe Illustrator/illustrator to quark

Question
Hi Amy,
I am working on a project in Illustrator CS... text and photography content.
Is there a way that I can export this file into Quark so that a 3rd party may edit /
update design files in Quark?
Look forward to your thoughts...
Thanks Mel.

Answer
Hi Mel,

I thought I answered this question, sorry! It seems I have not.

The short of it: No, there is no way to use Quark to edit AI files. You can only import, view, and print EPS files in Quark, you can't change the elements within the EPS files.

I realize you probably asked this because you have a different set of software than your third party. The least expensive option is for them to purchase Illustrator.

Sorry Mel!

Expertise

I can help troubleshoot your Illustrator 9 through CS3 (and most CS4) problems and suggest the best way to get the results you need. Although I can help with some installation issues, my forte is prepress and how to use the tools and functions in the application itself.

Experience

I've been a graphic artist for over 20 years. Oh my God, 20 years.
