Adobe Illustrator/pb resizing when selecting image or text!

Question
Hi there, a problem had occurred but not sure it happened and can't get back. Before i start i have to say i use illustrator  for basic things (creating book with text and image).
here's what happend:
usually once i have picture and text on my page i use the "selection tool" arrow to click on either text or pict and then i can resize pict or move/change shape of text. When this works, by clicking, the blue square had white little squares at corners (as when using "free transform tool").
Now, (and i don't know what i have done), when i use the "selection tool" arrow and click, the blue square around the pict has little blue square at corners and i can only move the picture around!!
Of course i can use the "free transform tool" but when used on text it only reduces the size of box and text!
I have tried pretty much all i could, i even uninstall and reinstalled illustrator hoping that would put the settings as i always knew them!!
All right, i don't know if that was really clear and i'm sure it's a little problem with an easy solution... when you know what to do... And i'll be so grateful if you can help (i guess as much as all the desperate users :-D).
Anyway, thanks in advance!
Ben

Ps: i use illustrator 10 on mac

Answer
Hi Ben,
This is simple to solve.
You probably pressed Shift+CMD+B by mistake. You can either press this combination again or go to "Window/Show Bounding Box" from the top menu. You'll get your text and image resizing handles again.

Please let me know if you need any further assistance with anything else.
Best regards,
