Adobe Illustrator/Ai cs3 "open a recent item"

Hi Kevin.

I'm a newbie at this, but when I open up Ai and the first page comes up you have on the left side "open a recent file" section and on right side you have "create new" section...

On the (left side) "open a recent item" - My question is....How do I "delete" items from "open a recent item"....

Hi Shannon,

Most people just turn that entire window off after they become more familiar with Illustrator (click the dont show again button at the bottom left).

There is no way to remove recent items without resetting your Illustrator preferences each time, which you don't want to do. It always will show the last 10 items.
