Adobe Illustrator/file sizes

Question
I've been working with cs3 for a little over a year and haven't had a problem
sending jpg's or psd's to our sales people, but the last 2 days no one can open
my art because the files are to large, like 24M, and thats after converting them
to jpgs. I don't know if I inadvertently have done something but I don't know
how to fix the problem

Answer
Hi Brian,

Jpegs can only compress so much, so if you are trying to compress very large files, you technically could end up with 24 M jpegs. But if not, then double check your settings in the options box when saving. Try lowering the quality, it will reduce the file size significantly.

Thanks
