Question Hi Kevin,
Be prepared, this might be a really stupid question.
i'm currently preparing a file for press printing. It has been quoted to run only 2-colour PMS.
There are some artwork content in the file, that i've used some objects filled with "CMYK = 0%" (White). The purpose of these "White Objects" is to block out/mask areas of the artwork...
My questions:
1. Will this masking work with the CMYK 0%? since the print job is not set to run CMYK? At the same time, i can't set it as the Paper swatch either, because i would like it to function as to "block" out artwork.
2. To not confuse the press people at the printers, i've deleted all unused colour swatches, and left only my 2 chosen PMS swatches, and this White CMYK 0% swatch.
Should i delete this CMYK 0% White swatch as well?
Thank you! Any help and suggestions would be much appreciated.

Answer Hi Macrae,
White is white no matter what the source color is. If you really want to put your mind at ease, switch the swatch (say that three times fast!) to one of your PMS colors at 0%.
