Question QUESTION: When you are saving an adobe illustrator file isn't there any option to save text as curves?
How do I access that option?
Thanks so much!
ANSWER: Hi Cheryl,
You will need to select your text with the select tool (the black arrow) and then go to Type>Create Outlines (not curves). There is no option when saving out, you have to do this to each piece of text you have created.
Thanks
Kevin

QUESTION: Thanks for your response.
My client saved the text to outlines. But when I open the file in adobe it states that the fonts can't be found and the art does not open with the outlined fonts he sent.
Why is this?
Sorry, but I'm in a hurry with this art. The customer is getting frustrated.
Thanks again,
Answer Hi Cheryl,
You customer has to select every piece of art and create outlines and save this out afterwards. If they have a locked layer or locked object it will not create outlines. That is the only reason you would still have embedded fonts. Check your document for these items and contact your customer to explain.
