Adobe Illustrator/How to use logo made in AI for BC in Photoshop

Question
Hi. I am a photographer starting my own business and I hired a graphic
designer to do my logo. She created it in AI and gave me the AI and PDF file. I
have tried unsuccessfully to import and resize this for my Business Cards that
I am making in Photoshop Elements. I have even downloaded AI tonight to try
and resize and change color of the logo to use in photoshop but I am
struggling. My question is how do I use a logo created in AI for a BC I want to
make in Photoshop and can I make the logo smaller and change color?
Thanks for the help. Jenna

Answer
Hi Jenna,

The issue is you are trying to do this in Elements, not the full version of Photoshop. Elements is a very limited, consumer based product, not meant for professional design or photography. It may not be able to import the Illustrator file properly.

Before I can help you I need to know what versions of software and operating system you are using. There is a big difference between versions and I want to point you in the right direction.

Thanks

Kevin
