Question Hi,
This is Omar Faruq. I am trying to open The Illustrator CS2 from Application. But after initializing font it's Quiting unexpectedly. Several times i have tried with restart the computer. For your kind information my Photoshop CS2 is Ok and my System is Mac OS X, Version 10.4.10.

Answer Hi Omar,
Are you using a font management application to control your font usage? If not I am assuming that you have a large number of fonts installed loose on your computer either in your system folder or in the application folder. Either way, too many fonts loaded at startup can cause CS2 to crash. You should go through and clean up your font caches.
