Question
I have just got Adobe Illustrator and I have just read you answer regarding inserting a picture. Very helpful  - thanks.

Now I need to know how you move the picture to the part of the page you would like the image to be?

Many thanks

Answer
Hi Sarah,
To move your picture simply use the selection tool which is the black arrow (the first tool at top of the tool box). Click on your picture, hold down your mouse button and move it.

To be able to move the picture to a precise location on the page you have to deal with the rulers, guides and other things. I was going to write you a long detailed instructions here but thought it'll be easier for you to watch a video instead. I found you one that will be very helpful. Please check the link below:

The video that you need to watch is under:

Table of Contents
3. Selecting and Arranging
Rulers and Guides

You can find other helpful videos at the same website as well.
Please get back to me with any questions if you need more help.
