Adobe Illustrator/EPS Files and Entourage

Question
We have several Mac users who send .eps files using Entourage.  When one of our pc users gets that file, they cannot open it as CS3 says it is and unknown format.  I saw in your response to Jayne that it could be the e-mail protocols.  In my instance, that is it.  You mentioned that the solution is a pain to fix, but did not mention the solution.  What is the solution?

Hi Kelly,

Try this to start and let me know if it works. The original fix is easy:

News Preferences -> Compose -> Attachments -> Encode for, and then choose "Windows (MIME/Base64)"

This should take care of normal attachment issues, if it doesn't it may be a problem with your server translating attachments as it goes out. (thats the pain).
