Adobe Illustrator/Glyph Keyboard Shortcuts on PC (???)

Question
Hello,

I am professional Mac user who has just taken a job using PC's! Am having issues understanding the glyph key shortcuts.

On Mac you can press OPT+G to get the Copyright "C" glyph.
I have just found out from another question that for PC you have to press ALT+0169 to get the "C" glyph and for "R" (registered mark) you press ALT+ 0174.  How do you find these codes? Can I access this info within Illustrator? I am trying to find the ALT+(Code) for TM glyph and a few others as well.

In the glyph palette it lists codes at the top as you rollover the glyph tiles (within the palette). But the codes it provides are U+(Code) NOT ALT+Code - Do you happen to know what "U" stands for (it isn't the actual 'U' key as I have tried this).

Thanks for your help.

Answer
Hi Rebecca,

First let me say sorry for downgrading to a PC. Next, here is the listing from Microsoft on unicode glyph values. Its long so write down the common ones. Otherwise, inside most Adobe products, there is a Glyphs palette that you can use instead (much easier).

Good luck!
