Question
I have a file that I want to print...the file size is 637"x36"...the program tells me that I can only print up to 227.54"x36". Can I overcome this and print the entire file in one shot.

I am printing on a Canon 8000 roll printer with 36" wide roll by 100 feet long.

Answer
Congrats Jon!

You have reached the limits of Adobe Illustrator. Seriously though, two things you can do.

1. Create the document at 1/2 size or less and enlarge when you print to your rip (200%, etc).

or create this in two pcs. and save each out separately, then piece them back together in Adobe Photoshop and print from there and hope it can handle it.

Normally though no one creates these images at 100% scale. The joy of illustrator is you can blow it up during the rip process and not lose quality.

Thanks!
