Adobe Illustrator/Pixelated Graphics

Question
Part of my job is to print 20x30 posters, created by others in Publisher and then PDF'd. I bring the PDFs into Illustrator and print them 2 up. Sometimes the background graphics look great, other times not. The original graphics are clear. What I can do to correct the pixelated ones in Illustrator before they are PDF'd? Unfortunately, I'm a novice at Illustrator. Thanks.

Answer
Hi Gail,

Illustrator cannot help you. The issue is with the original graphics being a lower resolution than what is required to print properly. The persons who designed these in Publisher will have to resolve this by importing higher-res graphics and resending the files to you.

Wish there was a magic work around for pixelated images, but there isn't.

Thanks

Kevin
