Adobe Illustrator/type help

Question
hey there kevin, im no pro in illustrator CS3 but i do use it and work out of it everyday but i need a quick fix to this as i dont have much time, i have about 160 mabey 180 user fonts installed on my machine and when i boot illustrator ill loads all thoes but it no longer will load my system fonts, impact, aerial etc. My photoshop CS3 is doing it as well. i did install the lino type app but removed it because i didn't like it. mabey this moved everything? i need some help with this.

Hi James,

One of two thing have happened. Linotype can move your fonts into a consolidated fonts folder (you have to tell it to) and you will need to move these back to your system fonts folder. The other issue that may be happening is that you have too many fonts loaded in your system folder and it can't handle it.

Look for your fonts folder and move those fonts back into your system font folder.
