Adobe Illustrator/Erase or Undo ?

Hello Kevin
I am new to Adobe Illustrator, and while experimenting with it I came across wanting to fix a path. The question is, should I Erase or Undo?

Hi Martin,

If its a path you just did, then I would just undo. If it is something you did a while ago, use the pen tool and scissors tool to cut out the error or repair it. You can use the direct select tool (white arrow) to select the individual point and then use the handles to fix. Unless this is a complete rework and totally messed up, I would never erase.
