Adobe Illustrator/Illustrator CS3 Logo

Question
I have designed the logo using text and shapes. I now need to make the
background transparent. When I import what I have designed into InDesign CS3
the background (white) comes with the logo. I need to isolate the logo, so when
importing there is no background visible. Please help.

Answer
Hi Jordan,

First, save your file as a native AI file when importing to CS3. As long as you do not have a white box or fill in your image, the remainder will be transparent. One other option you may have to turn on in ID is to right click on your image and go to display performance and turn it to high quality display. You can also find this under the view menu.

That will display your image properly.

Thanks

Kevin
