Question
Hi! I have downloaded a lots of brushes,symbols,patterns,swatches,and all of that has an extension "Adobe Illustrator Artwork 13.0". And all that content is in one folder,on my PC. And now i cant "install" this files.All have the same extension! (.ai) Please help me!!! Is there any solution for my mistake?

Hi Peter,

You need to drop these into the appropriate folders in your Illustrator Resources folders (Brushes, symbols, etc.) and not into one folder. To Load these, you have to go to the appropriate palette in Illustrator and using the drop down menu, choose "load brushes, swatches, etc. Then locate your files.

If these are AI files, it may be that you will have to open these files, and create the symbols and brushes from the native files provided.
