Question
Hi There, I have some examples of images that are bitmap or rasterised but their color can be changed in illustrator. How can i create these myself? Do i do it in illustrator or photoshop? I basically want rasterised images in illustrator that cannot have their form changed but that can have their colour changed. does this make any sense? thank you

Answer
Hi Nat,

Select your image, then go to filter>colors>adjust colors. Please note this only works in versions prior to CS3. Otherwise I always suggest using Photoshop to adjust bitmap images and replace them in Illustrator. This is a cleaner workflow and gives you more control than just some slide bars.

Thanks

Kevin
