Question
I want to send a large illustrator file out for a photo print. They only accept jpeg or tiff files. Opening the file in photoshop to resave makes the small type bitmappy. How do I get it to a .jpg or .tif?

Answer
Hi Wells,

In Illustrator, you must first go to Effects>Document Raster Effects settings and make sure you have this set to hi-res (300 dpi). Then go to File>Export and export as a jpg file with Maximum quality turned on.

Thats it!

Thanks
