I am about to purchase the new version of Illustrator.  I have no choice but to get this software for my new business.  I need to use the pantone colors which my computer doesn't offer in any of my graphic programs.  I need to upload the pic's to the website and they have to be in pantone colors. I found Illustrator CS3 with a training video for around 300 bucks.  Basically, all I need is a program that allows me to upload my art work and then replace the colors with pantone colors.  Are there any other solutions?

Adobe is one of the few programs that allow you to utilize the full Pantone swatch library. $300 is a little steep though. There are free training videos available on Adobe's site and Lynda.com. I would look for a less expensive retailer and avoid the videos.
