QuestionQUESTION: I am trying to resize an image that I have copy and pasted onto my work page but the measurements at the top are in 'pt' how do I change them to inches or cm?
Thanks
James
ANSWER: Hi James,
You change that globally in the Preferences.
Edit > Preferences > Units (might be Units & Display Performance depending on version). Then change the "General" units to inches or cm!
Good luck

QUESTION: As you were so good at answering the last question, do you know why whenever I print B/W photos they come out with a blue cast on my Epson 1900 printer?
AnswerHi again,
I hear that's a very nice printer.
I guess it has some clogging issues, so first make sure that you're not dealing with clogged nozzles.
If you are printing a photo from PhotoShop, make sure the mode is grayscale and that you are not viewing it in a soft proof mode.
Then play around with Color Management settings after you hit Print.
Choices are: No color management, Printer Manages Colors, PhotoShop manages colors. See which one gives you the best result.
You don't want to be printing from an RGB environment with an RGB Profile and then allowing PhotoShop to manage the colors during printing.
The idea is the same with any other application, including Illustrator. You want to be printing from a CMYK environment, not RGB, and you want to make sure embedded B/W pics are GRAYSCALE tiffs. Then play with Color Management to see what gives you the best results.
Good luck!
