This problem just popped up today for the first time.  For some reason, Photoshop CS3 Ext. just keeps closing automatically without apparent cause.  Whenever I open files, start a new picture, or save things, suddenly Photoshop just disappears.  It's like it was never open to begin with.  Any idea why this might be happening?  I'm using Windows XP, if that helps.

Hi Larisa,

Does this give you an error message after it crashes? Most times, when I get questions like this it is because someone else is running Photoshop with the same serial number and it wont allow you to run it. If that is not the case, let me know how much RAM you have installed, number of active fonts installed and what other applications you have running. It could just be an out-of-memory error.
